Parish Health Commission

Mission Statement
To promote health ministry (wholeness and well- being of mind, body and spirit) in parishes within the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania; assisting congregations to reclaim the Gospel mission of health and wholeness.

Basic Premises for Parish Health Ministries
1. Maintaining our health for God’s purposes is a Christian responsibility.
2. Body, mind and spirit are inseparable.
3. God’s desire for us is to be in harmony with Him, ourselves, others, and our world.
4. Healing is a Christian ministry as evidenced in the life of Jesus.
