Water Justice: Trinity Institute 2017

Wednesday, March 22, 2017 - 7:00pm to Friday, March 24, 2017 - 5:00pm

Water Justice: Trinity Institute 2017 provides a timely opportunity for people of faith to grow together in understanding the relationship between water justice and climate change. From Flint, Michigan, to Standing Rock, North Dakota, from the waterways of Pennsylvania to rising sea levels in the Marshall Islands, this gathering will help us better understand how we can respond to our call to care for God’s sacred gift of water. The Lower Susquehanna Synod, LAMPa, Gettysburg Seminary, and the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA are again collaborating to make the Trinity Institute available to a wider audience as a partner site.  “We are working together to model what it means to be the Body of Christ,” said Lower Susquehanna Synod Bishop Jim Dunlop. “We invite you to join us. Together we are stronger. Together we can do more in the name of Christ to be stewards of God’s good gifts.”

Cost:    Attend at Lutheran Theological Seminary Gettysburg - $65.00

Housing (Limited number of rooms available) - $35.00 per night
